PhD Graduate of COMP awarded the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas) 2021

Prof Meng YE, PhD Graduate of Department of Computer Science and Professor of the School of Computer Science, Wuhan University, has been awarded the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas) 2021 for his outstanding research project on open-world visual learning and its applications in multimedia analysis and reasoning. The NSFC Excellent Young Scientists Fund is one of the most prestigious honors for young scientists in China. It supports young scientists with outstanding achievements to pursue innovative research in the areas of their own choice. It aims to foster a number of young talents on the frontiers of international science.
