“This programme provides me a chance to improve myself in terms of two parts. The first part is giving me an opportunity to experience study life overseas, which broadens my horizon and makes me clear about my future. The second part is providing me a chance to carry out a part of research which makes me know my weakness and find a way to fix it. Additionally, the course offered enhances my public speaking and presentation skills, and it is very important at least when doing honour project presentation.”

“I have done an individual startup project for two months on transcription factors PU.1 binding with DNA by surface plasmon resonance. And also have a class on how to prepare for the academic presentation, poster presentation, and thesis writing. I do benefit a lot from the programme and gather more clear view on my way of research. Besides, I experience and enjoy daily life there and makes a lot of friends.”

The students here are energetic and hardworking. The library is always full so it’s hard for me to find a seat to study if I get to school late, especially during the final examination period. I make friends with my roommates, I will definitely visit Canada again and meet them in the future.”
